MBA Leadership Luncheons: Get face time with executives at some of Washington, D.C.'s most sought-after firms and agencies. Enjoy an intimate conversation with visionaries from the public and private sectors at these standing lunch appointments. Network in a relaxed atmosphere and gain a unique chance to seek counsel from those at the top of their fields. This weekly series will feature a new speaker each week. The idea of the luncheons is to bring in leaders from the private, public, and nonprofit sectors to interact with our MBA students in an informal environment.
Join us for our September 28th speaker: In his current position, Kevin is a Credit Portfolio Manager for PayPal, collaborating with Technology, Business and Agile Transformation team members to ensure yearly roadmap objectives are achieved:
♦ Drive the coordinated management of interdependent projects in order to achieve specific business goals.
♦ Partner with Business and Technology leadership to establish a solid understanding of the vision, purpose and expected business benefits of a program. Maintain measurable KPIs that are defined and aligned to company goals and objectives.
♦ Partner with Business and Technology leadership to establish and maintain program-level roadmaps. Ensure roadmap items are prioritized for delivery based on business value and/or impact. Help drive the resolution of prioritization issues as appropriate.
♦ Drive the program-level decomposition of work across multiple Agile delivery teams. Work across organizational boundaries to define program interdependencies and release plans. Ensure Agile delivery teams are aligned to program goals, objectives, and timelines.
♦ Monitor health of program delivery. Track program-level status, risks, issues and dependencies. Proactively address delivery team impediments. Resolve program-level roadblocks to enable successful program execution.
♦ Partner with Business, Technology, and PMO leadership to align resources to program delivery requirements. Ensure appropriate domain resources are engaged in dedicated or shared capacities. Help define creative solutions to address resourcing challenges.
♦ Manage program delivery efforts spanning multiple internal and/or external Agile delivery teams. Drive resolution of program-level issues leveraging scrum-of-scrums as needed. Facilitate executive-level escalations and program-level change management.
♦ Manage program-level communications ensuring stakeholders are informed of roadmap changes, release plans and delivery status. Lead program-level reviews with Agile delivery teams, stakeholders and executive management as required.
